I have a Multistrada, but I would like to make it very special, without making it stand out. So with the summer vacation up and comming, i decided to take the entire bike apart and make something beautifull, and truly special. My plan was to install a 999 engine into the frame, and I always liked the S4RS swingarm, so i would install that to. My goal was to preserve as much as the original shape as posible. I had to modify the frame to fit the airbox and shower injection from a 999R. The frame was re-welded and painted. I had special spacers made to fit the swingarm. The swingarm itself was machined to fitt the frame. by machining the swingarm, I left the frame in tact. The radiator was made by KTM and came from a Bennelli Tornado Tre. The radiator was mounted under the seat so the front of the bike would keep its original look. The front fork was rebuilt by a Ohlins engineer with Ohlins hydraulics. The short termignoni exhaust was adapted to create space for the radiator under the seat. The 999 main wiring harness and cpu where adapted to work on the multistrada.
Bike is still in production, and will be finished in the first week of August 2009
