8-9 May 1e Drag Race for the Euro Serie Super Twin Top Gas over the 1/4 Mile (402 meter) at Hoskovice Czech Republic about 50 km North East of Praha
 The Dragracing Team Herman Jolink left Thursday at 13.00 Doetinchem NL first to Arnhem then to Apeldoorn to pick up our crew Piet Mom and Henry Evers without them its not good buth with them I feel ferry good, after 900 km whe where at 1.00 O Clock in the night on the track the Airfield Hoskovice under way whe have allot rain but here ferry clear allot of stars above us in the sky, and the nice fine concrete track, I feel now ferry good, whe get to sleep and Friday morning whe build up the tent, with nice sunshine.
We did 2 test runs in the afternoon, I had a ferry good feeling with the Ducati 1198 RS (1266) whe made the frame stronger after the first runs with the 1198 RS (1266) last year 29 august also whe made the inlet manifolds. fore the four 38 mm Dell Orto carburators allot smaller to get a bether flow, it works whe had good power I use on the 402 meters now 5 gears before with the Ducati 999 RS (1214) whe use 6 gears, but the Ducati 1198 RS (1266) is a different engine and feel bether with 5 gears, this where the first runs with the new set up, the Ducati Drag Bike going now straight and not so as last year 29 august directly after the start the left.
Saterday whe did four Qualification runs 3 times a 8.5 second run and the best 8.481 seconds with 251 kmh endspeed , my persenol best is (8.479) with the 8.481 whe where Qualified first place second whas Harry v Schie NL on the 1966 Blower V-Twin with 8.519-239 kmh he whas 3 times in the other lane that is not so good, 3e Frank Heitmann D on 2622 V-Twin 8.543-242 kmh,whe qualified yust with one rider on the track.
Sundaymorning at 9.30 whe did the 5e Qualifying run but nobody whas bether because the concrete whas to cold, to get bether traction it need some sunshine to warm it up, Herman Jolink did a 8.652-251 kmh.
Sunday the Czech people are ferry friendly and the riders and the public give you a ferry good Support, at 13.00 the Drag Race starting but Ondrey Clymciw CZ exploded his Turbo Susuki after the finisch a oil down from 600 meters so it take a about 1 1/2 hour to clean the track, but that whas ferry good fore the traction because the sun whas warming up the track no more.
Top Gas 1/4 Finale Jolink 8.384 sec with 253 kmh winning from Niklas D turbo Honda last year he did a 9.0 but now the engine running not wel, the 8.384 whas a persenol best (before 8.479) ½ Finale Jolink 8.376 sec with 253 kmh again new best time the Team and I where ferry happy with the 8.376 sec also a persenol best on the 201 m 5.284 with 215 kmh ( before 5.313-214 kmh)
Top Gas Final 1e Herman Jolink NL 8.415-248 on Ducati 1198 RS (1266), 2e Marc van den Boer B 9.091-214 on 2600 V-Twin reaction Jolink 0.124 sec and v d Boer 0.230 sec
Jolink having lan choice but the rider before exploded his engine 3 meters before the start so Jolink desidid the fore the right lane ( the rider that having the fastes time the run before has lane choice) the traction whas not so good as the right lane Jolink did allot leaning with his body to get not over the middle stripe than you are out)The Team whas ferry happy with the first place and the new persenol best time the Czech riders and public where ferry happy that whe got the first place.
