Ducati Nitrous S4R

 Are you looking to turn some heads? Scare some old ladies? Do you want to park next to the Harleys and, after frightening them with the staccato bark of True Performance, bask in their envy? We did - that's why we built this bike! If you do also, then feast your eyes upon this absolutely one of a kind Ducati. Just riding this for a couple of miles will make you want to go start a bar fight... mean doesn't even begin to describe to attitude of this bike! Not only does it look like it could hurt you, it sounds like a slightly controlled symphony of explosions. I'm not kidding; people go crazy when they see this thing! (yes I know that was cheezy).
We built this bike to have a little fun and to enter it in the 2005 Ducati Monster Challenge. We had a lot of fun building it and took the "People's Choice" award at the Detroit round of the Challenge with over 80% of the ballots in the box going our way. We kept the bike around for the summer of 2005 and rode it to the local cruise night every once in a while, but aside from that it has been sitting here looking pretty. So, it's time for it to go and on to the next project.
This entire bike has been very carefully taken down and then very carefully put back together. Nothing has gone untouched; no sloppy work here!

2005 Ducati S4R
- Ducati Performance ECU
- Ducati Performance high flow air filter and air box top
- The suspension has been re-sprung and re-valved to work with the 2 inch extended swingarm and the fact that it has been lowered.
- Two Nitrous oxide (NOS). This system is adjustable from 35-70hp.
- The swingarm has been stretched two inches as well as being clearanced for the ultra wide rear tire and under sump exhaust.
- The wheels are Marchesini 10 spoke Forged Aluminum Wheels with the rear having been widened by Kosman to 7" to accommodate the 210mm rear tire.
- The exhaust was hand built, and is very clean in it's execution. The canisters are brand new Titanium Termignoni's (996-style) that have been shortened and turned sideways.
- The triple clamps are one off, custom billet aluminum pieces. Ultra trick and one of a kind, they were hand machined by Alex Ortner of Cycle Cat fame.
